Objective:

　This evening seminar provides a series of opportunities to share the recent works on environmental systems research which explores various interactions between environment and human society through systems approach to generate scientific knowledge for environmental problems solution. At each seminar session, a leading researcher of the field gives a 40-50 min presentation of his/her recent studies, followed by interactive dialogue session including Q&A. Through this seminar, we encourage active interaction and dialogue among researchers and students beyond individual university and institute.

目的：

　環境システム委員会の国際化を進める取組みの一環として、都内近辺の日本人学生・留学生・ポスドク研究者などを対象として、土木学会にて英語ベースでのセミナーシリーズ（計6回）を実施します。本セミナーでは、環境と社会との相互関係をシステムとして捉え、課題解決志向の科学的知見の導出を目指す環境システム研究について、話題提供者が近年の関連研究成果を紹介しつつ、大学や研究機関の垣根を超えた学会員・留学生等との対話・交流を促します。

  This seminar is provided only in English. Simultaneous translation from English to Japanese is not available.

　18:00-18:10          Self-introduction of the participants

　18:10-19:00          Lecture

　19:00-19:30          Interactive dialogue session including Q&A
