To International Students, Exchange Students, Researchers, and Visiting Researchers in Japan,
We are pleased to announce the MLIT Lunchtime Session 2026, organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) in collaboration with the Civil Engineering International Students Support Group Japan (CEIS by JSCE).
This special opportunity is designed for international students and researchers to meet MLIT professionals, learn about Japan's infrastructure development, and gain first-hand insight into public sector engineering and policymaking. Participants will have the chance to engage directly with technical officials, discuss current infrastructure projects, explore emerging technologies and research initiatives, and participate in an open Q&A session with senior government representatives.
A guided visit to the National Diet Building is also included, providing participants with a unique opportunity to learn about Japan's legislative system and the relationship between public policy and infrastructure development.
Through professional exchanges and networking opportunities, attendees can broaden their understanding of Japan's civil engineering and infrastructure sectors while building valuable connections for future career development.
