To International Engineers working in Japan,
We are pleased to announce that the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE), International Center, International Civil Engineers Support Group (ICES), International Engineers Support Team (ICES) will host a seminar titled “Career Talk: International Engineers’ Career Path in Japan 2026.”
Following the positive feedback received last year, this seminar will be held again as a continuing event. The seminar aims to provide international engineers working in Japan’s civil industry with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of diverse career development options and adaptation to Japanese workplace culture.
Last year’s seminar focused mainly on careers related to overseas projects. This year, however, we will invite civil engineers who are primarily engaged in projects within Japan as speakers, offering more practical and accessible insights into career paths in Japan.
In addition, a panel discussion will be held in the latter half of the seminar, providing opportunities for participants to exchange views with speakers and fellow attendees, and to gain valuable knowledge and professional connections that will support future career development.
We sincerely look forward to your participation.
