We are delighted to invite you to attend the 2nd JSCE-CICHE Joint Workshop, which is going to be held in Tokyo, Japan from May 18 through May 19, 2017.
The main aim of this workshop is to share and exchange information related to civil engineering infrastructural design and construction, disaster risk reduction measures in structural and non-structural approaches. This will be a great workshop that will provide the opportunity to establish joint research framework on the above topics for future collaboration between Japan and Taiwan. This is a diverse workshop including academic researchers and students, industrial researchers and enginnees, public and private persons, and all are welcom.
GOALS
1) To exchange information related to civil engineering infrastructural design and construction, disaster risk reduction measures in structural and non-structural approaches
2) To establish joint research framework on the above topics for future collaboration between Japan and Taiwan
3) To provide young engineers an opportunity to discuss their research projects and exchange with their peers overseas.
4) To promote collaborations between civil engineers and researchers regardless age, gender and culture in Taiwan and Japan

Period: 1 & 1/2 day (Day 1: Worshop for 1day, Day 2: Technical Tour for 1/2 day)

Participants: Mainly CICHE and JSCE members (Young, senior engineers, researchers and consultants from academic, public and private sectors.)
